When pizza and liquid liner collide…
On the list of things I never would have thought of could be combined in a semi-logical way: liquid liner and pizza.
Props to MAC for bringing together these two unlikely cohorts in their new Rollerwheel liquid Liner.

That’s the way to think outside the (pizza) box, man!
Rollerwheel made a big splash backstage at fashion Week a few months ago where it was dubbed “the pizza cutter liner” because of the little pizza cutter-shaped wheel-doohickey on the applicator.
Pizza, pizza!
It’s not out yet, but it’ll be available on the MAC website starting August 17th (it’s LE), and then in stores from September 14th through October 26th, 2017.

When you try to draw a pizza on your arm and fail… the blue shade is called Roller Royale, and the black shade is called On a Roll Black.
In theory…and sometimes in practice, the wheel draws thin, precious, precise continuous lines, but it’s been soooooo hit or miss for me. If there’s a secret to getting consistent results with it, I haven’t figured it out.
Sometimes with it I’ll get a continuous crisp line with a flawless cat flick at the end, but most of time the line looks ragged, and my wing juts out at a crazy angle.
Sh*t girl… That line is a mess. (I’m wearing On a Roll Black, the matte black shade.)
I’ve tried it a bunch of times but haven’t figured it out yet. Oh, and maybe I’m just a weirdo (there’s no maybe about it), but that wheel also hella tickles! — especially in the inner corners.
Also odd: as the liquid liner dries, which takes about five minutes, it tightens up and feels like it’s pulling at my skin. It’s uncomfortable. My eyes start tearing, and I can’t wait to take it off.
It’ll be available in four shades when it arrives, and I’ve been testing two — the matte blue and the matte black. I don’t know if I have the patience to keep trying to figure out a method to the madness of properly using it. as of right meow…I like this pizza cutter more in theory than in practice.
Have you ever done a Spartan race before?
A few of the girls in my HIIT class have been trying to get me to do one with them. I’m not entirely sure, but I think it’s a team-based obstacle course with lots of dirt and mud involved.
I’m totally on board with the idea, except for the dirt and mud part, so I’m still thinking about it. I don’t like being completely covered in dirt when I exercise, man! I don’t mind sweating like a mofo, but once my socks get wet or my clothes get muddy, it’s over for my @ss.
I think it’s because of the year I ran the Bay to Breakers race in San Francisco during a downpour, and running those seven miles in squishy socks… Well, let’s just say that the race lost its charm.
Have you ever done a Spartan race? If you have, let me know how it was. I’m still thinking about it… It would be fun to get to know the peeps in my class better.
